International TYPO3 University Day at the T3EE

TYPO3 CMS is used by many universities worldwide and the amount is still growing. The TYPO3 community is building an international platform to exchange experience amongst universities. We would like to invite universities to be involved in the development of the CMS and the organization of the TYPO3 community, but also to attract more universities in using TYPO3 as the CMS of their organization.

To kick off this platform, the T3EE will start with a dedicated day for universities at November 10th 2016.

Throughout the conference more university focused topics will be presented. Both the TYPO3 University Day as the T3EE will be organized in open spaces, workshops and discussion panels with topics like:

  • Technical - Server management, connection with external systems, TYPO3 development
  • Organizational and logistic - Development and communication processes
  • Communication - Between universities and the TYPO3 world (TYPO3 Association, core development, other universities)

Call for papers

Your input on the topics is highly welcome and we will organize the program to your needs. Therefor we have opened the "call for papers" where you can propose to have a talk/workshop/discussion panel during the T3EE and/or TYPO3 University Day.

Target groups

Target groups for this event are technical people as well as decision makers and people involved in daily management of their TYPO3 websites.

To start the communication - between universities and other educational institutes - right now, we have opened a channel called "#educationalinstitutes" within Slack. Within Slack channels you can communicate with other members and we will keep you informed about the event in the “#educationalinstitutes” channel. When you are registered, you can use this link,, to go directly to the channel.
